Our mission is to educate students to facilitate improvement in the quality of human communication. We accomplish this through leadership, excellence, and innovation in;
- delivering baccalaureate, master’s, doctoral, and continuing education
- providing and participating in professional and clinical service
- conducting basic, clinical, and applied research in communication sciences and disorders
- entrepreneurship and economic development

The below survey results highlight just how well CSDI is meeting its mission.
- 95% graduate student respondents report they are very prepared to practice in the field of Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology upon graduation.
- 100% undergraduate respondents indicated very satisfied or satisfied with the overall program.
- 99% of graduates from the AuD and MS program have secured a job as an Speech-language pathologist or Audiologist within 6 months of graduation.
