Meeting Our Mission

Our mission is to educate students to facilitate improvement in the quality of human communication. We accomplish this through leadership, excellence, and innovation in;

  1. delivering baccalaureate, master’s, doctoral, and continuing education
  2. providing and participating in professional and clinical service
  3. conducting basic, clinical, and applied research in communication sciences and disorders
  4. entrepreneurship and economic development

The below survey results highlight just how well CSDI is meeting its mission.

  • 95% graduate student respondents report they are very prepared to practice in the field of Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology upon graduation.
  • 100% undergraduate respondents indicated very satisfied or satisfied with the overall program.
  • 99% of graduates from the AuD and MS program have secured a job as an Speech-language pathologist or Audiologist within 6 months of graduation.
