Dr. Kathrin Rothermich is an Associate Professor in the Department of CSDI and the director of the Social Communication and Neuroscience Lab. In her research, she the uses behavioral paradigms, eye tracking, electrophysiology, and brain stimulation to explore social aspects of language and speech. Much of this work focuses on individual differences related to neurological conditions (e.g., Parkinson’s Disease), second language learning, mental health (e.g., anxiety), and personality traits (e.g., empathy). Her work is currently supported by the National Science Foundation.
